On
Saturday, July 17, 2010 in 90+ degree heat (the pull
would have been cancelled if temps reached 95), Bayou
achieved a personal best by pulling 1,358 pounds in
11.97 seconds to get her third leg and UWP (United
Weight Puller) title!
On Sunday, July 18, Bayou once again won the UKC Total
Dog Award with Qualifying performances in both Weight
Pull and Rally, earning her URO1 (United Rally Obedience
Level 1) title with a score of 88. She also won Best of
Breed and Group 3 in both shows.
Thanks to the Minnesota Mixed Breed Club for hosting the
UKC weight pull and UKC obedience/rally trials, and the
United German Shepherd Dog Alliance for hosting the UKC
conformation shows and sponsoring the Total Dog Award;
all events were held at the Washington County
Fairgrounds in Lake Elmo
