Leslie Belz' Great Danes

Isis

Isis is a rescue Great Dane that Leslie got from the Heart of Minnesota Great Dane Club.  She is deaf and was left in a house that was in foreclosure for a month in a closet with just a bag of food and water.

She got her CD (Companion Dog Title) in Obedience in one weekend and took 1st place in all 3 legs.

She does Agility but it is difficult to show her since she is limited to being shown only in non-AKC (American Kennel Club) shows due to her being deaf.

She has her Canine Good Citizen certification and is a Therapy Dog at Regions Hospital.

She has done demonstrations at Parades, Heart Drives and at the Great Dane Club of America National Specialty Show in Agility for deaf dogs.

In her spare time she likes to go in her wading pool and to do tracking through the woods. She also ran 3 years in the Humane Society Runs with Leslie.

Isis has also had TPLO surgery. (Cruciate Ligament surgery)

She is 7 years old but going on "3". (2005)
