Simone Merle and Katie rescued Simone from a family who was not taking proper care of her. She weighed only 90 lbs and was 3 1/2 years old. (A 3 1/2 year old adult dane should weigh a lot more than that). She is doing really well now. You can tell for sure that she doesn't just weigh 90 lbs any longer. She is a lot better off in a good home with Merle and Katie.
Simone is 6.5 years old and loves to play with her ball. (2006)
