Judges approved by the AKC to judge Great Danes
The GDCA
Board of Directors recommends the following guidelines be kept
in mind when selecting Judges for the National Specialty.
"The
ideal Judge to judge the GDCA National Specialty is licensed to
judge Great Danes, would have completed provisional assignments
in Great Danes, should have judged at least one Great Dane
Specialty and has demonstrated a long time interest in the
breed"
Those
Judges selected MUST agree not to judge Great Danes for at least
six months prior to the National Specialty with the exception of
those judging Obedience, Agility and Junior Showmanship, who
must adhere to the AKC policy on timing and distance.
Eligibility
requirements for Futurity Judges:
1. Must be
a member of the GDCA or an Affiliate Club.
2. Must
have been in the breed for at least eight years.
3. Must be
the breeder of record of at least three litters of Great Danes.
4. Must be
the breeder or owner of record of at least two Great Dane
Champions.
5. AKC
Judges are eligible to judge the Futurity.
6. Must
agree not to judge Great Danes for at least six months prior to
the GDCA National Specialty.
